"The Scarlett Letter," Is a great book,but the litterature was kind of difficult to understand sice the way its spooken. The book takes place during the 17th cenetury in Boston,Ma. It's during the time when men were seen superior and crimes by women were punished by shame. In this stroy a woman named "hester" commits adultary with a reverand! Because of this Hestery praynne had to wear the scarlett letter (the letter A for adultary). the picture above is a picture of a puritan,this reminded me of the book because there were many puritans during this time period and influencing societies norms.
That would be embarassing having to where that letter and showing everybody what you had done to be made to wear the Scarlet letter. But it sounds like a good book I would like to read but im not sure about the literature being a little to hard for me to understand.

ReplyDeleteThis book looks very different from any book that I have read about before. I dont know but it looks like it may be a classic story but I would ove to read this book later on.
